An exceptionally rare early Maison Margiela GATs from Spring/Summer 2006 designed by Sebastian Meunier, executed in a distinctive combination of pearl-toned technical nylon, smooth leather side stripes, and soft suede overlays. Departing from the traditional suede/leather German Army Trainer construction, this version showcases a lightweight paneled nylon upper, exposed raw-edge tongue, and translucent gum sole that has developed a rich amber patina with age. The muted pearl coloration and mixed-material composition exemplify the brand’s deconstructed approach during the mid-2000s era. In worn condition with damaged inner heel and scuffs overall.
