Rare Raf Simons ‘Astronaut’ high-top sneaker from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection, constructed from heavily textured metallic charcoal leather with an intentionally crackled finish. The futuristic silhouette incorporates a layered padded ankle, double-tongue velcro closure construction, lace-up front and adjustable velcro ankle strap. Sculptural zippered compartments wrap around each heel, finished with oversized circular zipper pulls and tonal black rubber soles. One of Raf Simons’ distinctive pre-adidas footwear designs, the Astronaut translates utilitarian and space-age references into an exaggerated luxury high-top. In top condition with no major flaws.
